The latest innovation from the pioneers of the multiple echo ultrasonic thickness gauge:
- Reliable measurements through coatings
- Live A-Scan display for thickness measurement verification
- Large 2.8″ color TFT screen
- Topside monitoring with DIVELink
- Data logging capability
- Optional HelmetView™
- Automatic probe recognition.
Following several years of market research, development and field trials, we are delighted to announce the launch of the world’s first wrist mounted Underwater Thickness Gauge – the Cygnus DIVE.
The Cygnus DIVE is packed with new features and has been designed to be worn on the diver’s wrist potentially giving them an invaluable free hand while performing thickness surveys. Like all Cygnus products the DIVE has been designed for easy operation; it has only two buttons for quick and easy navigation of the menu. It has a large bright color TFT screen displaying the thickness measurements in large, clear, easy to read numbers. To assist in the verification of thickness measurements and to help locate suitable ultrasound reflectors on badly corroded metal, the Cygnus DIVE can display an A-Scan graph of the ultrasound received. The Deep Coat function allows the Cygnus DIVE to measure metal thickness through coatings up to 20mm thick.
DIVELink Software Option
The Topside Options include DIVELink software to data log readings and store A-Scans on the surface and a Topside Display unit with video overlay capabilities to mix and display thickness measurements on the video monitor.
A-Scan Display
Additionally, the DIVE has its own data logging capabilities and can store up to 5000 measurements together with the A-Scan for each measurement, these measurements can be transferred to DIVELink when on the surface for report compilation or further A-Scan analysis.
The gauge uses an AutoLog feature to enable the diver to data log measurements without pressing any buttons.
Optional HelmetView™ Remote Helmet Display
The optional HelmetView™ remotely displays thickness measurements via a display fitted to the diver’s helmet.
